How Midori Vets Mediums & Psychics
Anyone can call themselves a Medium or Psychic, which means finding one you can trust is harder than it should be. On Midori, every Practitioner is rigorously vetted before they ever meet with a client. We vet across four criteria: Formal Training, Professional History, Assessment, and Ethics. Here is what each of those means, and why it matters.
Formal Training
At least 3 years of training at a recognized training center.
Many of our Practitioners describe having felt this ability their whole lives. We believe that ability, however it begins, is strengthened by training, and that training is where a Medium or Psychic learns the craft of client care, including how to guide a Reading and how to deliver difficult information with sensitivity.
We recognize Oakbridge Institute and Arthur Findlay College. Other centers are evaluated case by case. We have no financial ties to these organizations.
Professional History
At least 200 paid Readings, over no fewer than two years.
By the time a Medium or Psychic is featured on Midori, they have worked with clients who arrived hopeful, doubtful, and grieving, and learned to work with each.
Assessment
Blind Assessment Readings with the Midori team, with no prior information about the sitter.
We evaluate two things. First, whether they offer specific, testable details rather than general statements. Second, how they hold a client through an emotional experience.
Ethical Commitment
A signed commitment to Midori's Code of Ethics.
